Children in and around Zandvoort
Zandvoort is well known for its family facilities. It is not surprising therefore that there are plenty of activities for the kids. The beach is obviously the place to be, especially with nice weather. But when the weather is not so kind, they can enjoy themselves at a lot of places in and around Zandvoort. The dunes will give them the opportunity to explore, find animals, birds, plants and trees. The basis for entertainment in Zandvoort has been there since time immemorial.

Kraantje Lek is a place in the forest of Overveen, just 10 minutes ride from Zandvoort. Is also a nice cycling trip to Kraantje Lek with children. For the children it is possible to play outside or inside. www.kraantjelek.nl

Linnaeushof
At twenty minutes drive from Zandvoort in Bennebroek you will find the largest playground of Europe. The Linnaeushof is open from April till October. www.linnaeushof.nl
Petting zoo and playground
At fifteen minutes drive from Zandvoort you fill find Groenendaal, in Heemstede. Groenendaal is a big estate with a beautiful forest. A petting zoo is maintained by a group of young people with minor mental disabilities.
