Official Kite Surf Spots
It is safe to kite surf in Zandvoort. There are three places on the beach where you are allowed to go in- and out of the water.
- At the beach club Riche.
- At the beach club The Spot and Rescue Squad North.
- At the water sports association and Rescue Squad South
The places are marked with signs which will be moved with high- and low tide.

Swimming
Of course swimming in the beautiful North Sea is possible and safe. Since May 2004 the Blue flag flies again at Zandvoort. This flag is the symbol for clean and safe beaches. The swim paradise of Sunparks Zandvoort is great fun for young and old. (wave pool, outdoor pool, water slides, hot whirlpool etc.)
Walking and Cycling
Zandvoort is located between the beautiful Natural Parks of South-Kennemerland and the “Amsterdamse Waterleidingduinen”. These Parks are only accessible to walkers and cyclists. Cycling
The many cycling-tracks and the rural roads offer you a varied ride. Route maps which lead you through Zandvoort, the coastal track and the dunes are available.

Golf
How about a round of golf? Everybody is welcome at Open Golf Zandvoort. In fact, the club lays on lessons for beginners whereas seasoned golfers will face nine challenging holes in the magnificent dunes.
